It is developed in the year 2000 From NINGBO ETDZ IMP & EXP CORP with its predecessor NINGBO ECONOMIC TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT ZONE IMPORT & EXPORT CORP. founded in 1986. It has been ranked among ¡°China 500 largest import and export enterprises¡± and ¡°Ningbo 20 important export enterprises¡± for consecutive years since its foundation. The trademark of ¡°NBETDZ¡± has also been selected for ¡°Ningbo export famous brand¡± of the 2008-2010 year and ¡°Zhejiang export famous brand¡±, and it was awarded "AAA credible unit" of industrial and commercial enterprise of Zhejiang Province for the first time in 2009. In 2009, the total foreign currency earned by the company is 115,470,000 U.S.Dollars, including 101,300,000 U.S.Dollars for export, and 14,170 ,000 U.S.Dollars for import, and it was honored as "Ningbo advanced export enterprise".
The business scope includes importing and exporting business, samples processing, components assemble and compensation trade as well as processing with supplied and imported materials. In addition, it not only acts as the import and export agent of various kinds of commodities and technology but also undertakes counter trade and entrepot trade. Moreover, it is authorized by the National Ministry of the Commerce the qualification to implement the foreign ¨Caid project and the international contract project, participating in contracting international machinery and electronic projects and domestic international biddings, exporting the equipment, material and labor involved in the relative projects.
The main products contain textile, knitwear, garments (including habilatory fittings, children¡¯s garments, footwear), arts & crafts, household commodities (including bath items), machinery (carious plastics injection molding machines), electronic products, automobile fittings (all types of alloy wheels), chemical material for construction and decoration, natural and animal products, stationery and sports items, and groceries etc., and are mainly exported to countries and areas like America, European Union, Japan, East and South Asia, Middle East, South America and Africa etc.
Meanwhile, it has several productive investment enterprises (including costume, auto parts and rubber plastics foam and its products). It also has established the ETDZ ENTERPRISE (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia, the NINGBO ETDZ GLOBAL LIMITED in Nigeria, and the Brazilian Ningbo Trade Center in Brazil as well.
